Asia University received a substantial grant of NT$. 13,770,000 for its proposal of “Study Abroad and Internship Grants (XueHai)” by the Ministry of Education. Around 300 students will benefit from this grant and secure the opportunity to study abroad as exchange students or to do their internship in other countries in the coming year. AU has been granted the largest sum of money among 160 Taiwan universities in the past five consecutive years

Prof. Yinghuei Chen, Dean of the International College, stated that Asia University has been promoting global mobility as a way to better prepare its students for the very competitive global market and this XuiHai program is considered a key gateway to the global dream. Dean Chen further observed that students can go abroad as exchange students in Regensburg University of Applied Sciences in Germany; Montpellier Business School and Université de Tours in France; National University of Singapore; Nanyang Technological University in Singapore; University of Victoria in Canada; University of Ostrava in the Czech Republic; Kansai University in Japan; Ajou University and Sejong University in Korea; Airlangga University; Gadjah Mada University; and Jakarta State University in Indonesia, etc.
For overseas internships, students will take part in different projects which include The Changi International Airport Internship Program in Singapore; the Occupational Therapy Internship Program in Malaysia; the Multiple Health Care Internship Program in Australia;The Optometry internship at Auckland University in New Zealand; the Eco-Tour and Hotel Management Internship Program in Nepal; the ACOHI Fashion Brand Internship Program in Vietnam; the NIEPMD Summer Internship in Chennai, South India; the Commercial Interior Design Internship Program in Japan; the Smart Informatics Internship Program in Edmonton, Canada; and the Agricultural internship in Texas, USA, etc.
