Asia University promotes the teaching and learning of AI and achieves certain breakthroughs in the field of biotechnology and medical diagnosis.  In the past four consecutive years, AU has won 10 National Innovation Awards in various AI-related subjects.  Dr. Jeffrey J. P. Tsai, President of Asia University, led the research groups to attend the award granting ceremony on December 1, 2020.  In the competition of the 17th National Innovation Award and 2020 National Innovation Award of Excellence, AU won altogether four awards.President Tsai says in an interview that AU’s Food Safety and Inspection Center won two National Innovation Awards in the technological innovation of detection chip.
