About Us

The Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, formerly the Department of Information Technology, was established in 2001. The department first offered a Master program only. In 2002, the undergraduate program was established. The Doctoral program was established in 2006.

There are about 20 faculty members in this department, and they are experts in their fields of study. Whether in teaching or research, the professors of this department have all performed excellently. We encourage students and teachers to conduct studies and innovative research.

The curriculum provided by this department includes basic courses, core curriculums, major programs and free electives giving the curriculum design richness and diversity. Courses such as "Mobile and Internet Application", "Semi-conductor Systems", "Big Data Analytics", and "Artificial Intelligence" stand out and are highly practical. Students can choose courses depending on their interests or take courses from other departments to work towards a double major to develop their professional ability and second skill.
